Rules and Judging criteria:
Only one entry per college
Maximum of 12 participants per team (excluding backstage helpers).
All teams will have an on-campus elimination round during RIVIERA
For the preliminary round, teams can portray any theme of their choice.
.For the final round the teams have to depict any 1 of the following theme mentioned. "THE STREET" or "MASQUERADE BASH"
Time limit for prelims and finals 6 + 2 mins. ( 6mins on stage and 2 mins for stage set up, curtain to curtain 8mins)
Points will be deducted for exceeding the time limit
Emphasis will be given to clothing, portrayal and originality
Maximum number of participants on stage 12.
Backstage helpers should not exceed 3. Two team members must be present to provide cues for music and lights.
Teams are not allowed to take any sort of professional help.
Lighting of candles, matches or cigarettes on stage is not allowed and will result in disqualification.
Any form of vulgarity in dressing, music and actions depicted on stage will lead to disqualification.
Any dance moves on the stage will lead to negative marking.
V-shaped extension will be provided to the stage. Both the stage and the extension may be used as the walking ramp.
Teams must bring 2 CDs and a pen drive containing their sound track.
One CD is to be submitted at the time of eliminations. The soundtrack should be in .mp3 format.
Last date of registration- 28th JAN, 2011. Teams are requested to confirm their participation in advance.
