Dance Events - Duet Dance
Description:
This event can be seen as similar to popular Dance shows on TV. It is a duet dance competition wherein registrations will be in couples (two boys or two girls or a boy and a girl- any combination is welcome).
Rules & Guidelines
Prelims:
The prelims will require the couple to do a pre-rehearsed dance on the stage for about 2 mins.
Finals:
The judges will present each team of two with a challenge consisting of a song and a prop. They will get a room and three hours to choreograph their new sequence before they present it in front of the audience and the judges
The final three winners will be selected again on the above mentioned criteria. Marks will not be deducted for costumes,
Disqualification will take place if someone is found wearing inappropriate clothing.
- The finals will be of two to three mins per team on stage.
Judging Criteria:
Choreography, style, expressions, ideas, skill and stage presence.
