Online Events - Conceptual Photography (Online)

Description:

Conceptual photography is a photography genre in which the artist takes a photograph inspired in a concept or idea. They have a unique quality; since they exist in the mind they can transcend language barriers.

Rules:

• All participants are to select any one theme from both the categories, making it 2 entries per person. The photograph should conceptually depict the theme and justify it.
• Participants are not allowed to change the name of the theme anyhow. It should be the same, verbatim.
• All entries should be submitted on or before 1st Feb, 2011, to the following email id : vit.shutter@gmail.com
• Photographs must be shot AFTER 7th Jan, 2011
• Photographs must be sent as an attachment to the mail containing the participant details including full name, name of college and contact information
• All photographs should be in JPEG format ONLY, 1024 pixels along the longer edge at 172 DPI. File size must be between 500 KB to 2 MB
• Heavy photo-manipulations are strictly prohibited. Minimal required post processing and overlaying basic textures is allowed. (Please include texture stock image is used)

PS : An obvious one here, all work must be original. Be creative. Let intuition and artwork flow. All the best!
